LOT 1. Cultural-tourist route

Guidelines

LOT “Cultural-tourist route” supports priorities: 

  • support for the creation of new cultural and tourist routes with the mandatory inclusion of historical and cultural heritage sites in them;
  • promoting the development of sustainable (formed) cultural routes that include cultural heritage sites, demonstrate the local cultural diversity of the region (crafts, traditions, rituals, etc.) and can integrate eco-tourism as a component.
  • building partnerships between representatives of the cultural / tourism sectors and local governments in order to promote the cultural diversity of the region, the development of cultural and cognitive tourism.

Total budget for the LOT is UAH 20 mln

Minimum grant amount (that cannot be decreased): UAH 50.000 

Maximum grant amount (that cannot be increased): UAH 1 mln

The only sector supported under the LOT: cultural and creative industries. 


* Please note that the LOT budget may change both in the direction of increase and in the direction of decrease, after the Verkhovna Rada approves the Law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2021".


Applicant for the LOT can be local self-government body registered on the territory of Ukraine (except for registration in the capital and regional centers), without restrictions on the term of registration; a legal entity of all forms of ownership or a natural person-entrepreneur registered on the territory of Ukraine (except for registration in the capital and regional centers) in accordance with current legislation not less than one year on the date of the competition and has relevant experience in culture and / or development of cultural and cognitive tourism.

Project application deadline: 02.12.2020 – 01.02.2021 ( 18.00 Kyiv time, GMT+2)

Project selection procedure: 01.02.2020 – 30.04.2021

Project realization including final reporting: starting from the date of Grant agreement signing (but not earlier than 30.04.2021) and until 30.10.2021
