The UCF has counted project applications that were submitted to cultural and arts projects

Contests of cultural and art projects that were held from 21st May until 2nd July (6 pm) 2018: individual national projects, national cooperation projects which involve a partnership between two or more organizations within Ukraine; international cooperation projects which involve a foreign partner, including representatives of Ukrainian Diaspora.

All applications that were sent for contests had to meet the priorities of the Foundation’s activities among which are the introduction of innovations, support of debuts, contributing to the development of educational initiatives, expanding the audience through engaging of different age and social groups, preservation of cultural diversity etc.

In total, 716 applications were submitted for contests:

Individual national projects - 593

National cooperation projects - 100

International cooperation projects - 23

• Performing art - 79

The first phase of the selection process according to technical criteria will be held until 9th July. From 9th July to 9th August expert councils will review submitted project applications.

The beginning of the implementation of cultural and arts projects is scheduled in September 2018.
