"Support for musicals, young performers, digitisation of heritage in frontline regions, and engagement of people with disabilities in cultural institutions — these are just some of the objectives of the new grant year", — said Anastasiia Obraztsova.

Applications will open sequentially, starting on November 17. In addition to the already familiar ones, such as ‘Culture During War’, ‘Societal Resilience Through Culture’, ‘Culture. Regions’, and ‘Cultural Heritage’, the UCF team has developed new programs in response to the sector’s needs:

  • ‘Contemporary Music Space’, supporting both emerging and established artists
  • ‘Art in Frame’, aimed at filmmakers and TV creators
  • ‘Flagship Events’, focused on supporting festivals dedicated to prominent Ukrainians, commemorative dates, state anniversaries, or specific professions and crafts.

"This is the result of teamwork, in which all of you took an active part. Thanks to your engagement, letters, comments, feedback, joint discussions and ongoing dialogue, we were able to update the programs in line with current needs", —Anastasiia Obraztsova concluded.

Two more programs, developed in cooperation with the international Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine and the EU’s Creative Europe programme, are in the making.
