The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation is launching a network of regional representatives. This was announced by UCF Executive Director Anastasiia Obraztsova during her speech at UCF Friends Day, a networking event.
The pilot project will cover two regions — Odesa and Sumy.
"When selecting [the regions], we relied on data: applicants from these regions are exceptionally active and put forward many ideas and applications, yet only 1-5 projects are ultimately carried out. We want to help these communities strengthen their capacity and increase the number of successful cases", — noted Anastasiia Obraztsova.

The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation (UCF) is a state investor in the development of culture and creative industries. The institution was established in 2017 under the "On the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation" law. Project support is provided on a competitive basis across seven sectors: auditory arts, visual arts, audiovisual arts, cultural heritage, literature, performing and stage arts, and cultural and creative industries.
Over the course of 8 years of work, the Foundation has funded 2,951 projects that have helped transform society. The total investment exceeds 2 billion UAH, with an audience reach of 56 million people.
