UСF announces the second additional competition for the program "Culture in Times of Crisis: Institutional Support"

On September 30, UCF announced the second additional competition for the program " Culture in Times of Crisis: Institutional Support." The program is designed to promote the sustainable development of cultural and creative industries during the pandemic and to increase the competitiveness of small and medium businesses in the cultural sector.

Under the grant, applicants can plan the costs of operational and core activities of the organization for the period from October to December 2020 within the budget items determined by the Foundation. The grant also covers accounts payable arising from March 12, 2020 during the period of restrictive measures related to the spread of coronavirus disease to pay financial obligations in accordance with the budget items determined by the Foundation.

To ensure the possibility of supporting the sectors, it was decided to redistribute the budget in relation to the previously announced in the second additional competition. The amounts of LOTs of the second additional tender can be adjusted based on the results of the competitive selection of institutional support projects submitted from July 30 to August 28, 2020; from 3 to 21 September 2020. The distribution of funding between LOTs may change based on the number of applications submitted within the second additional competition.

The main changes that have taken place:

• expanded list of NACE - see Annex 1 to the Instructions for Applicants;
• organizations registered on the territory of Ukraine not later than January 1, 2019 may apply for support within the framework of an additional competition;
• Charitable organizations and trade unions may apply for support within the framework of an additional competition;
• in the framework of LOT 1. Audiovisual arts applications may be submitted not only by producers, demonstrators and distributors of films, but also by representatives of television.
• Organizations operating in the field of radio broadcasting will be able to submit within the framework of LOT 3 Audio arts.
• LOT 7 Literature and Media may also be submitted by organizations active in the field of print and online media.

The budget of the additional program competition is: UAH 70 million.
