UCF launched the nomination "Business that supports art and culture" at the XI CSR Case Competition

This year's winners in the nomination were SoftServe and Kredobank, which supported cultural projects in 2020. The nomination "Business that supports culture" was founded in cooperation with CSR Center  and UCF. Such work is part of a set of activities of the Foundation, which are aimed at attracting business to the cultural sphere.

The competition is designed to promote cooperation between cultural institutions and business structures, which will develop the cultural sphere and create successful cases of joint implementation of projects.

The winning cases were selected according to several criteria: compliance with the direction of culture, art and creative industries, innovation, involvement of company employees in the project, scale and sustainability of the project and project results for the company, culture and region.

SoftServe supported the project of the International Charitable Foundation for the Development of the Holodomor Memorial. And developed the "Grains of Truth" platform, which was created to collect charitable contributions in order to implement the project of the main exposition of the Holodomor Museum. The site features interactive beads that symbolize the commemoration of each individual victim. Simultaneously with the launch of the platform, the company launched a fundraising campaign. The company itself transferred 2,800,000 UAH to the project. To date, the company's employees have made more than 250 donations, and the total amount of contributions amounted to UAH 2,976,645.

Kredobank focused its efforts on promoting reading and financial literacy of Ukrainians in the form of a cultural and educational initiative "Read from KredoBank". The implementation of the initiative allowed to draw attention to reading in Ukraine and interest more than 500 employees of the bank, 300,000 customers who use the bank's card products and more than 26 thousand students from all over Ukraine. The total project budget for 2018-2019 amounted to UAH 3,300,000. Within its framework, books were published, children's literature was distributed, literary and reading competitions were held, and motivational videos were created.
