To promote and preserve the culture of the indigenous peoples of Crimea, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation together with the state enterprise "Crimean House" and the state institution "Ukrainian Institute" developed and implemented the LOT "Culture of Crimea" within the grant program "Prominent Events". Its goal is to support a large-scale cultural and artistic project that will deepen the understanding of the inseparable cultural and historical ties between mainland Ukraine and the Crimean peninsula, raise awareness of the preservation of Crimean culture, and draw the world's attention to Russia's annexation of Crimea.

Together with its partners, UCF aims at a comprehensive approach to the presentation of Crimean culture and acquaintance with it to a wide audience, both in Ukraine and abroad. The project supported within LOT will be the first step to form a permanent exhibition space in the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine (Pirogovo Museum), where the culture of Crimea will be presented by means of art. In the future, this space will be coordinated by the Crimean House. Partnership with the Ukrainian Institute will provide promotion and presentation of the project created within the LOT or its individual components abroad.

The total budget of LOT "Culture of Crimea" is UAH 10 million.

Applications with ideas for a large-scale project dedicated to the culture of the Crimea are accepted from February 9 to March 30, 2021 on the UCF website.

On February 17, at 11:00, an online presentation of LOT with the participation of representatives of partner organizations will take place on the UCF Facebook page.

On February 19, at 14:00, we invite you to a webinar about LOT, which will be broadcast on the UCF YouTube channel.
