The Lviv Museum of the History of Religion, with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, has started creating a 3D model of the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, the oldest dated wooden church in Ukraine, located in the village of Stara Skvaryava. In addition, the digitization of the Staroskvaryava iconostasis of the 16th and 17th centuries is in progress.

The project will also provide a Summer School of Iconography for local schoolchildren, youth, and children with the status of internally displaced persons. During the summer school, children will create icons based on the museum iconostasis.

"The project is focused on preserving and popularizing Ukrainian cultural heritage. As a result of the project, everyone will have access to the monument, and the exposition will meet the needs of everyone. Those who like to listen will have an audio guide, those who like to watch and read will have copies and annotations, and those who prefer digital technologies will have QR codes. Thanks to 3D models, the monument will be available everywhere in the world, and information in English will eliminate the language barrier", - said Sofia Kaskun, co-author of the project.
