On April 30, 2021, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation announced the start of project applications for a new competition program “Film Project Development” aimed at developing the script business in Ukraine and Ukrainian film production in general, spreading the practice of introducing a stage of development of film projects in Ukrainian film production, discovering new names in the field of scriptwriting.
The budget of the program for 2021 is UAH 15 million. The minimum grant amount is UAH 200,000, the maximum is UAH 500,000.
The main products supported within the program will be exclusively scripts and presentation packages (script, director's vision, synopsis, visual materials, Bible of characters, etc.).
Grant applications for the Film Project Development Program will be accepted from 6:00 p.m. on April 30 to 6:00 p.m. on May 31, 2021 (Kyiv time).
