To evaluate projects of institutional support to the cultural and cognitive (domestic) tourism sector, the Foundation announces an open competition for the selection of experts.

The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation plans to announce a new competitive program of institutional support. The program will contribute to the stable development of cultural and creative industries during the pandemic and increase the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses in the cultural sector. Support will be provided to institutional support grants to cover the debt incurred by the organization in the period from April to August 2020, as well as to cover operating expenses until the end of the year.

It is extremely responsible and important for us that the Foundation has the opportunity to support cultural institutions in times of crisis and extraordinary challenges. In addition, this is a challenge for the Foundation - to qualitatively, transparently and objectively implement competitions and in a short time provide state support to those who need it. In order to implement it qualitatively and in a timely manner, it is necessary to form a professional and effective expert council of the new program.

The expert council of the institutional support program will be formed from the circle of current experts of the Foundation for 8 sectors of culture and arts in accordance with the Regulations on expert councils.

From July 27 to August 5, 2020 The Foundation invites experienced specialists in the field of cultural and domestic tourism to join the competition to form an expert council of the institutional support program to ensure transparent and effective selection of projects to be implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation in 2020.

Nomination of experts to the Expert Councils of the Foundation takes place in two ways:

  • self-nomination of a person for the purpose of participation in the competition for the selection of experts;
  • nomination of a person for the purpose of participation in the competition for the selection of experts by a profile institution in the field of culture.

Requirements to the candidate:

  • higher education of the second (and higher) level;
  • at least three years of professional experience in the relevant sector;
  • project management experience, in particular project budgeting experience and / or project evaluation experience in the cultural and artistic field for at least three years;
  • excellent Ukrainian knowledge;
  • impeccable business reputation.

Candidates for expert councils are selected in accordance with the Regulations on the Commission for the Selection of Experts for UCF Expert Councils.

Expert evaluation of applications will last from August 17 to September 10, 2020 in accordance with the Project Evaluation Methodology.

The amount of involvement of experts in the evaluation of projects depends on the number of applications received for the competition.

Please note: experts who are members of the Expert Council of the program may not represent the applicant's organization and / or participate in the implementation of projects submitted for evaluation by the relevant Expert Council.
