Ukrainian art will be presented in Turkey with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation

The "Helikon Art Center" Art Association and curator Olena Yegorushkina are announcing a joint Ukrainian-Turkish project "Ukrainian Art of Wartime" with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and the "Bahçecik" Cultural Organization.

"The project “Ukrainian Art of Wartime” is a personal experience of the artists who suffer the consequences of Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine and the call of art for righteous peace for Ukraine and the world", - says art critic Olena Yegorushkina, the curator of the project.

The three-month project will begin with a summer residency in Turkey. More than ten Ukrainian artists will be creating new works during July 16-30. The exposition of works will take place on two exhibitions. One in the city of Izmit In August and another in the Turkish capital Ankara in September. In the future, the exhibition project will also be presented in Ukrainian cities.
