The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation agreed to consolidate efforts to promote the implementation of state policy in the field of digital transformation, digital innovations, digital skills, in the field of culture and arts.
To achieve this, a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation was signed.
Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration Valeria Ionan: "The pandemic has increased the number of Ukrainian projects related to the transition to online, digitalization, the use of augmented or virtual reality technologies, digital services. At the state level, we are strengthening support for such digital initiatives".
The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation will open separate LOTs for digital transformation projects.
Executive Director of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation Yuliia Fediv:
"We provide state financial support through grant programs to Ukrainian projects in the field of culture and art, in particular, related to digitalization. Today, during the Covid-19 crisis, such support is especially needed. We are working with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, which has expertise in this area, to work together to promote innovation in culture".
