A new UCF Supervisory Board has been announced

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine has announced the full list of the new Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.

According to the Law of Ukraine "On the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation", the Supervisory Board of the Foundation is comprised of nine persons - two persons appointed by the President of Ukraine, two - appointed by the central executive body who create and implement state policy in the field of culture and arts, two persons - representatives of cultural institutions, two persons - representatives of public associations and the Head of Supervisory Board of the Foundation.

Decree of the President of Ukraine №8 / 2021 appointed following persons to the UCF Supervisory Board:

• Yuriy Rybchynsky, poet, playwright, Hero of Ukraine
• Artem Surin, public figure, traveler, founder of VAN LIFE TRAVEL LLC

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy has approved the following members to the Supervisory Board:

• Oleksiy Kiryushchenko, director of Kinostolytsia LLC
• Kateryna Chuyeva, Director General of the National Museum of Arts named after Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko

On the results of the online voting from cultural institutions and public associations, following persons were appointed to the UCF Supervisory Board:

• Yuriy Artemenko, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Star Media Producer Hub
• Vladyslav Kornienko, General Director of the National Circus of Ukraine
• Alexander Suslensky, Director of the Heroic and Holocaust Historical and Memorial Museum
• Igor Tuluzov, First Deputy General Director of the State Enterprise "Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after M.V. Lisenko”

The Head of Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation will be announced later. According to Articles 5 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation”, the Head of the Foundation is appointed and dismissed from the position by the central executive body that formulates and implements state policy in the fields of culture and arts, in accordance with procedures stated in this Law. Candidates for the position of the Head of the UCF (not more than three) are determined at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation with at least two-thirds of the votes and submitted to the central executive body that creates and implements state policy in culture and art.
