The Educational stage of the Culture Plus program begins on February 17, which is the second mandatory phase of the program and will last until March 15, 2021. 302 projects take part in it, which out of 907 submitted ideas for the program, according to the results of the joint evaluation of UCF and partners of the respective LOTs and the formed rating, were given the opportunity to undergo training. After its completion, the participating projects will be able to apply for the main competition "Culture Plus".

In 2021, "Culture Plus" is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the Public Union "Osvitoria" and the NGO "Center of Street Cultures".

The educational part of the Culture Plus program is supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

For the 10 formed groups, 3 training modules will be conducted in online format, which include thematic introductory lectures from LOT partners, workshops on writing a grant application and financial management, as well as on communication strategy.

Speakers of introductory modules will be:

  • Oleksandr Tereshchenko, Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine;
  • Kateryna Pronoza-Steblyuk, practicing psychologist, researcher at the Institute of Neurosurgery. acad. A. Romadanova of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine», Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Medical and Social Problems of Vulnerable Populations
  • Lilia Hrynevych, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (2016 - 2019), Vice-Rector of Borys Hrinchenko University of Kyiv, Chairman of the Board of the NGO "RE: OSVITA";
  • Zoya Lytvyn, Chairman of the Public Association "Osvitoria" for applicants for the LOT "Culture and Education"
  • Yegor Matyukhin, Chairman of the NGO "Center of Street Cultures" for applicants LOT "Street Cultures"

The Public Organization "Other Education" coordinates and conducts the Educational Part.

We remind you that participation in the Culture Plus program consists of several stages:

  1. Contest of ideas
  2. Educational program
  3. Project part (submission of grant applications for the UCF competition)

The Culture Plus program aims to strengthen the integration of culture into everyday social, educational and social practices, to increase understanding of the role of culture in society, to develop intersectoral cooperation and to demonstrate the importance of culture for preserving the nation's integrity and creative potential.
