The deadline for applications for the "Culture in Times of Crisis: Institutional Support" program has been extended

The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation together with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine decided to extend the deadline for applications for the "Culture in Times of Crisis: Institutional Support" program.

In order for as many cultural organizations as possible to receive institutional support to cover debt obligations incurred between March and August 2020, as well as to cover operating costs by the end of the year, the last day for receiving application packages has been set for August 28, 2020.

We remind you that the goals of the "Culture in Times of Crisis: Institutional Support " program are:

• To support organizational capacity of cultural institutions of all forms, affected by the quarantine restrictions;
• To promote the increase in the number of jobs in the creative industries and securing the reduction of workers;
• To stabilize of the work of the actors in cultural and educational (domestic) tourism through compensation of losses caused by quarantine restrictions;
• To support the film industry in times of pandemic.

The program budget has been increased to UAH 580 million

The program provides support for 9 LOTs in the relevant sectors of cultural and creative industries with the following budget allocation:

• Audiovisual arts, TV-production, distribution and demonstration- UAH 100,000,000
• Visual arts - UAH 65,867,190
• Audio arts - UAH 60,000,000
• Design and fashion - UAH 20,000,000
• Performing arts - UAH 90,000,000
• Cultural heritage - UAH 85,000,000
• Literature (except for publishing) - UAH 15,000,000
• Cultural and creative industries (cross-sectoral activities) - UAH 45,099,324
• Cultural and Educational (domestic) tourism - UAH 100,000,000
