On July 28, on the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, the exhibition "UKRAINE wARTime", curated by Olena Yehorushkina, opened in Turkey with the informational support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
There were participation of 14 Ukrainian artists, 2 patriotic actions in support of Ukraine, 22 artworks were created within the framework of the project. Moreover Ukrainian artists painted a Turkish school with Ukrainian symbols and treated them to borscht on the Bakhchejik embankment. The opening of the exhibition was attended by the mayor of the city.

"In August, the project will be continued in Ukraine with the participation of 8 more artists. The final exhibition will be presented in Ankara from September 11 to 21. The organization "Bahçecik Kültür" and the Union of Ukrainians in Kocaeli also acted as information partners of the project", - said Olena Yehorushkina - curator of the project, art critic.
The exhibition is organized within the framework of the Ukrainian-Turkish project "Ukrainian Wartime Art". Organizer: "Helikon Art Center" art association, art critic, UСF expert Olena Yehorushkina.
