More than 500 requests with a total value of over 413 million UAH were received through the "Cultural space" platform. The Cultural Space platform is aimed at supporting Ukrainian culture during ongoing russia's military aggression. Among the requests is not only the need for direct financial support for the restoration of artists' activities, but also for the provision of logistical or information services, provision of consumables for creativity.

The Ukrainian culture and creative industries sector continues its operation despite russia's military aggression. However, support of cultural projects is limited, as public funds are used to fight the enemy and solve urgent humanitarian problems.

"After the technical selection we have started searching for potential donors for them. At the same time, I will note that the donor independently chooses from the general list a project or, for example, an institution that he\she wants to support in accordance with the needs described. Therefore, a completed application on "Cultural Space" is not a guarantee of full support. The main purpose of the platform is to promote interaction between representatives of international institutions, charitable foundations, business and the creative community for effective investment in cultural initiatives", - said Vladyslav Berkovski, Executive Director of the UCF.

Entities and individuals can offer support, announce the partner search and send their proposals, which may be posted on the Cultural Space platform.
